Why Crossing Vineyards and Winery
is "Revolutionary" |
| The Vineyard |
We use a computerized weather station to collect data on our microclimate. |
We replace herbicides and pesticides with organic sprays and sustainable agricultural
methods wherever possible. |
| The Winery |
We use only the finest Pennsylvania grapes, processed within hours of harvest
to ensure quality. |
We use a state-of-the art computer system (“Winus”) to maintain consistent
temperature, especially during the fermentation process. |
We use jacketed stainless steel tanks to control temperature during the aging
process. |
We use traditional French and American oak barrels to enhance flavors and aromas. |
We have a sterile bottling facility with a separate, positive pressure HVAC
system. |
| The Tasting Room |
Our Tasting Room looks directly on to 15 active vineyard acres. |
We offer high quality Riedel stemware, fine corkscrews,
bottle bags, books and other quality wine accessories. |
We offer private tastings, wine appreciation classes,
