PA Wineries Break the Record For Fun!
Although The Great PA Wine Toast fell short of the official toasting record, the 60 participating PA wineries had plenty of fun trying. Crossing Vineyards hosted 165 people and raised over $1000 for The Fund to Benefit Children and Youth.
Adding to the festivities, Chris Rahill and Colleen Bloom got engaged during the event.

Never A Wish Better Than This....
As part of its Wine Institute's International Travel Program, Crossing Vineyards hosted a twelve day trip to France, May 15-26, 2010. The custom, private tour included 3 nights at The Hotel Mayfair, a four star hotel near The Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris, and 8 nights accommodation in charming B&Bs in Bordeaux, The Dordogne Valley and Normandy.
With a full-time guide/driver, guests experienced visits to top level Châteaux in Bordeaux, including the world renowned Château d'Yquem in Sauternes; a cognac distillery tasting and tour; a tour of the prehistoric cave paintings in Font de Gaume; a foie gras farm tasting and tour; a Dordogne River cruise and tour of a medieval castle; and a two-day tour of Normandy, including visits to World War II sites, a Calvados Distillery and Monet's House and Gardens at Giverny.

Crossing Vineyards Medals at IEWC for 4th Straight Year
One of Crossing Vineyards' most popular wines, the '08 Chardonnay, earned a gold medal in the 2010 International Eastern Wine Competition, recently held in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
Crossing's '07 Cabernet Franc earned a bronze. Bronze medals require a unanimous panel vote in this competition; so all wines winning medals in the IEWC are worthy of merit.
