Crossing Vineyards' ever-popular Merlot 2006 earned a silver medal in the 2010 Pennsylvania Farm Show Governor's Cup Competition recently held in Harrisburg.

Cabernet Franc '06 Reserve and Estate Vidal Blanc '08 Recognized in Jefferson Cup Competition

On November 19 and 20, 2009, The Jefferson Cup Invitational celebrated its tenth year as the only competition that honors the best of the best among wineries from all of America’s wine regions. Each year they select great wines from across America; the 2009 competition included wines from twenty-three states.
Cabernet Franc '06, Crossing's most decorated wine from the 2006 vintage, and the newly released estate grown and bottled Vidal Blanc 2008 have earned "Certificates of American Merit," which are comparable to a silver medals

It's a Beautiful Thing!

Crossing Vineyards recently completed and dedicated its new "Green Building." The structure features a high-efficiency geothermal heating and cooling system and is designed to accommodate the future installation of solar panels. It also includes a water recharging well that collects and recycles groundwater instead of allowing erosive runoff.

U.S., State Dignitaries Help Dedicate Energy-Efficient Building at Crossing Vineyards' 6th Birthday Celebration

Crossing Vineyards celebrated its 6th birthday in style with the dedication of a new utility building. The energy-efficient structure is equipped with a geothermal heating system, energy efficient lighting and super insulation. It is also fitted for the future installation of solar panels.

In the first-ever Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition, held in on September 26 and 27 in San Diego, Crossing Vineyards earned the following medals for its '06 and '07 vintages:

Platinum: Merlot 2006
Gold: Cabernet Franc 2006
Silver: Viognier 2007

Crossing Vineyards distinguished itself as the only Pennsylvania winery to earn medals in this prestigious competition.
